BANGALORE ROUND TABLE 7

This is a joint project of  Bangalore Round Table 7 and Bangalore Ladies Circle 19, and  as part of our endeavor to educate underprivileged children in Bangalore we have identified an extremely need worthy school in Kolar, Dr. Ambedkar Primary School.

Dr. Ambedkar Primary School is a 50 year old school located at the Koramantal village in Kolar. They have classes from standard 1 to 10 with a current strength of more than 500 students. The school also provides education to over 50 students from a nearby orphanage. The infrastructure of the school is 50 years old and many of the classrooms and structures are not very sturdy nor sufficient for the strength of the school. They presently require 4 additional classrooms and 1 toilet block for the students.

Project Details:

Construction Cost
The construction cost for one classroom is Rs. 5,00,000 but we only require Rs. 2,50,000 since the balance amount shall be raised and matched by Round Table India. Thus a Company/ Donor would need to only pay 50% of the total cost of building the school and still be able to provide education to numerous children and be recognized as one of the main sponsors of the school

·         Cost of construction for 4 classrooms: Rs. 10,00,000/- or USD 18,000
·         Construction cost for 1 Classroom: Rs. 2,50,000/- or USD 4,500
·         Construction cost for 1 Toilet Block: Rs. 1,50,000/- or USD 2,500
·         Donate a Brick : Rs. 10,000 per brick or USD 200 per brick

3. Donate a Brick

4.Donation Towards 1 Toilet Block

Donors are encouraged to engage themselves in manner of their choosing. Corporate Donors often do the same through their employees. Creating opportunities to interact vide visits; recurring programs, weekend training (if in vicinity), festival celebrations, short trips and interaction with the students
